Mr. Nick Andriacchi

Nick Andiracchi is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting. As an active member of the St. Therese Church parish Nick serves as chair of the church finance council. Nick is a father of two children who both attend St. Therese School. While Nick is the Director of Sales and Marketing of Damian Services he happily volunteers his time and energy to giving back to the community. Nick also has the role of assistant coach for the St. Therese flag football and basketball teams. He also enjoys his work with various sports organizations like the Near South Little League and Near South Floor Hockey league.

Mr. Steve Casey

Steve Casey’s professional, community, and personal life are intentionally driven by one goal: giving to his community. The Casey’s are raising their sons in Chicago’s Englewood community. A resident and property owner in his neighborhood, Steve is also affiliated with numerous community-related activities, including the local and national Urban League chapters, Neighborhood Housing Services, the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission, and the Chicago Alternative Policing Strategy (CAPS) initiative. Named a German Marshall Fund Fellow in 2004, Steve spent time in Europe studying global economic, political, and social issues. Steve’s favorite quote, one that exemplifies his mission, is credited to the influential German thinker Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, “Treat people as if they were what they ought to be, and you help them become what they are capable of being.”

Gary R. Chan has been involved in the Procurement Industry for 35 years as Director of Purchasing. His expertise is in the field of Hospitality Procurement and currently in Manufacturing. Gary attended of the University of Illinois at Chicago. As a graduate of St. Therese, Gary feels it is an honor to serve as a Board of Jurisdiction member to the school that put him on the right path. That tradition was followed by his daughter who is also alum. Gary truly enjoyed learning from all of the St. Therese nuns and teachers who taught hard work, respect and to giving back to the community.

Bob Gallagher, Jr. was born in Evanston, Illinois and was educated at St. Joan of Arc School in Skokie, Illinois and Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois before receiving a BSBA in Finance at the University of Denver. He worked as a commercial insurance broker and then in information technology for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in networking, data transfer and software development, before retiring in 2012. Mr. Gallagher is an active member of the Big Shoulders Fund and Chicago’s Catholic community.

Mr. Peter Kelty

Peter Kelty is a Chicago business lawyer specializing in business formations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other commercial transactions. His practice includes serving as General Counsel for Dillon Kane Group LLC, a Chicago based group of companies focused on technology and financial services. Besides his legal practice, Mr. Kelty also is the principal for Kelyard Corp, which provides business advisory services to businesses expanding to Asia. Since 1995, he has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Primeline Energy Holding, Inc., a Hong Kong headquartered company listed on the TDX with a large oil and gas concession in the East China Sea, People’s Republic of China. Previously Mr. Kelty lived and worked as a commercial and investment banker in Hong Kong for nine years, assisting clients operating in various industries throughout South East Asia in connection with a variety of joint venture, merger and acquisition, fund raising and investment transactions. During this time, he worked as a corporate finance executive for Bank of Boston, AIA Capital (AIG’s Asian investment bank) and finally managed the very successful Hong Kong corporate finance unit of a large Asian group. Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Mr. Kelty practiced corporate and securities law for a large U.S. publicly traded diversified energy company and worked in public accounting.

Mr. Kelty is a member of Illinois State Bar and is a Registered Illinois CPA. He has a B.B.A. (accounting) from University of Notre Dame, M.B.A. from DePaul University and a J.D. (cum laude) from Indiana University. He is currently a Board Member and the President of the Hong Kong Business Association of the Midwest, a business group sponsored by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

Will King works as a private equity associate for Svoboda Capital Partners ("SC"), and is responsible for investment evaluation, transaction execution, and portfolio management. Prior to joining SC, Will worked in the Investment Banking Division of BMO Capital Markets in Chicago. During his tenure at BMO, Will focused on capital raising and mergers & acquisitions in the consumer sector. 
 
Will was raised in Evanston, IL and attended high school at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, IL. Will holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Michigan. He has been involved with Big Shoulders since high school and remains an active member of Chicago's Catholic community. Will is also a member of the Young Leaders Society at United Way of Metro Chicago.

George Lee is an alum of St. Therese School, went on to graduate from the University of IL – Chicago and has spent the last 20 years working in the IT industry as an analyst. George strongly believes in the value of education and parental involvement in the academic career of children. Mr. Dominic Lai

Dominic Lai, M.B.A., has served as American Family Insurance agent since 1992. He is committed to providing quality service that represents the best value to customers. Dominic has served as Vice-President and Chairman of the Chicago Chinatown Chamber of Commerce (2008-2011). He currently serves as Director in the Chinatown Chamber Board and as one of the four Executive Directors of the Chicago Hong Kong Club.

Sammy Moy is a 1985 St. Therese graduate, parent of three current and former students, and spouse of a fellow graduate. Sammy has lived in the Chinatown/Bridgeport community for over 46 years. Sammy is a proud supporter of St. Therese - over the years, Sammy has volunteered in numerous capacities, including as JV Football and JV Basketball coach. Sammy graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana and has been a Financial Advisor for over 20 years.

Mr. Dan Ng

Dan Ng is an alumnus of St. Therese Chinese Catholic School and is also a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago where he received a bachelor’s degree in biology and history. Dan received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois at Chicago - College of Pharmacy and his Master of Business Administration degree at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. He is currently pursuing a Master in Public Health degree at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill – Gillings School of Global Public Health. Dan works as a consultant conducting research on the impact of medication and policy on health care costs. His research encompasses prostate and breast cancer treatment, leukemia, infection, and kidney failure treatments.

Along with being on the Board at St. Therese, Dan is also a member of the Board for the Kellogg Alumni Club of Chicago, co-chairs the Community Relations Committee and also volunteers his time to help technology start-up firms and non-profit organizations develop business plans and marketing strategies. Dan holds an Adjunct Assistant Professor appointment at the UIC-COP Department of Pharmacy Systems, Outcomes, and Policy where he teaches Pharmaceutical Marketing. In his free time, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and children either in Chicago or traveling.

Mr. Fred O'Connor

Fred J. O’Connor is a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual and has more than 26 years of professional services experience. His work experience began in fixed income institutional securities sales at Salomon Brothers, Inc in New York. Fred then moved to risk management advisory, insurance brokerage and post merger integration management for Aon Group in London, Düsseldorf and Chicago, and later to business strategy and technology solutions advisory consulting with Diamond Technology Partners. Fred holds a Master of Management degree in finance and marketing from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He received a BA in Economics from The College of the Holy Cross and studied at the London School of Economics, remaining an avid student of economic theory and public policy making practice.

In addition to St. Therese School, Fred serves on a number of civic organizations and boards, including: The Big Shoulders Fund and The 100 Club of Chicago. He has both participated in and spoken at Young Leader Forums with The Atlantik Brücke, The American Council on Germany and The Aspen Institute (Berlin). Fred also served as gala dinner chair for Have Dreams, on the membership committee for The Economic Club of Chicago, and on the Kellogg Alumni Council. He was on the founding board of Chicago Cares, where he served for ten years.

Mr. Joseph Patrick

Joseph Patrick brings 20 years of professional experience in the Design and Construction Industry, currently as a licensed Architect and formerly as a Construction Manager. A native Chicagoan, Joseph attended Queen of Martyrs Elementary school and Brother Rice High School, both in the south side of the city. He later attended The University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana where he received a Master of Architecture Degree and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering. This education included a year- long study abroad program at the Ecole’ de Architecture through the University of Illinois in Versailles, France. Joseph currently works as project Architect for Goettsch Partners Architects in Chicago and resides in the western suburbs with his wife and two young children. He was introduced to St. Therese Chinese Catholic School through The Big Shoulders Fund and has been board member there since the board’s inception in 2009.

Ms. Sharon Wong

Sharon Wong arrived in America in 1999 and has worked diligently to obtain a BA at Loyola University of Chicago in 2003, working for the Chicago Board of Education as an E-Rate program manager since 2006 and founding Chinatown’s trusted real-state and property management company HMC. She has been a key member in the Chinese Entrepreneur Organization (CEO). Sharon and her family are active parishioners of St. Therese Chinese Catholic Church and have a daughter enrolled in the school.

Sharon has organized and executed numerous events in the Chinatown community, such as: Moon Autumn Festival, Chinatown Summer Fair, and St. Therese Church Walk- a-thon. In addition, Sharon serves as a mentor in the CPS volunteer initiative, entitled Mentoring the Next Generation: Chicago’s Children. As her past demonstrates, she is a believer in hard work and community service and is excited to have the opportunity to assist and help advise the school on policies, Catholic identity, and other fundamental important decisions that impact the St. Therese community and the Chinatown community at large.

Dr. Sevila Yee Schiml

Dr. Sevila Yee was born and raised in the Chinatown community and began her education at St. Therese Chinese Catholic School. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Illinois, began dental school at Loyola University, and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville. She has been practicing dentistry in the Chicago area for over ten years. Dr. Yee is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. She has continued her education in implantology and cosmetic dentistry. Aside from her passion for dentistry, Dr. Yee enjoys running and spending time with her family.
