Service & Activity Hour Forms
An important component of a St. Therese education is our community service program. This program begins in first grade and continues until eighth grade. St. Therese offers a myriad of interactive volunteer opportunities that not only contribute to the advancement of our school and parish community, but also offer practical ways for individuals to discover personal fulfillment. Whether it is raising money for global solidarity efforts or simply cleaning up after a community event, St. Therese strives to connect our students to social justice through service. Emails will be sent when specific service opportunities become available. Volunteer opportunities are also posted in the parish bulletin. Service activities outside of our school and parish community require pre-approval. To further promote a sense of involvement in our community, students are also expected to participate in an activity either at St. Therese (e.g., sport teams, Taiko, choir, dance, student youth council, yearbook) or with any other organization (e.g., music lessons, park district teams, boy/girl scouts, etc.). Activities must involve regular and consistent participation. Activity participation must be a minimum of 8 hours and is separate from the student service hour requirement. School Supplies
The complete school supplies list for each grade level can be found here. Please note: School supplies may be dropped off prior to the first day of school on Thursday, August 17 and Friday, August 18 only. Lunch Program
